The User Data feature allows you to retrieve your personal information directly from Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) and populate it into your organization's documents. Your documents are always up to date with accurate information such as name, title, and department—completely automatically.
For the user, User Data serves as a convenient and personalized database where the user's information is updated automatically and is always accurate. The user doesn't have to enter their information manually every time they create a new document.
For administrators, User Data is a simple solution for managing the organization's information efficiently. Through our administration portal, you can add more information or make adjustments such as renaming, deleting, or hiding fields.
The Combined Data feature makes it easy to merge multiple user data fields. This feature is perfect for creating elements such as footers in documents or personalized contact information in letters.
With Combined Data, you can combine different user data fields in various ways and with the layout of your choice. If a field is missing a value, the appearance of your combined field will automatically adjust so that the user always sees a clean and neat result, even if some fields are left blank.
If you make a change to a Combined Data field, that change will be reflected in all templates where the function is used. A huge time-saver!
