Värmdö kommun arbetade med många dokument och presentationer, men saknade en enhetlig och tillgänglig mallstruktur. Att hålla ihop layout, grafisk profil och tillgänglighetskrav var både tidskrävande och svårt att kvalitetssäkra.
Kommunen insåg behovet av en heltäckande lösning som förenklade vardagen för över 1 300 användare. De ville ha mallar som var varumärkesanpassade, tillgängliga och alltid lätt att nå – oavsett plattform.
Vi skapade tillgänglighetsanpassade mallar i Word, PowerPoint och Excel, formgivna i linje med kommunens grafiska profil. Med TemplateExtender samlades alla mallar, bilder och funktioner på ett ställe, och integration med Mediaflow säkerställde att bilder fick alternativtexter automatiskt. Ett presentationsbibliotek gav dessutom färdiga PowerPoint-sidor att bygga vidare på.
För att förankra lösningen genomförde vi seminarium och utbildning. Seminariet introducerade TemplateExtender och spelades in för framtida onboarding, medan den djupare utbildningen riktades till de som arbetar administrativt. Resultatet är ett långsiktigt, effektivt arbetssätt som sparar tid, minimerar fel och stärker Värmdö kommuns kommunikation.

All templates are adapted to comply with accessibility guidelines. For example, we have adapted the reading order, text sizes, contrasts and margins. This ensures that the information in Excel sheets, Word documents and presentations reaches all recipients.
Of course, the templates are designed according to the municipality's graphic profile. Elements, colors and fonts are uniformly placed in the different programs' templates. Värmdö municipality has a uniform and easily accessible way of working with documents and presentations.
With our cloud solution TemplateExtender, Värmdö municipality today has access to its templates in Word, PowerPoint and Excel directly via Office programs. The templates work both in web apps and desktop applications, on PC and Mac. The tool saves time by gathering all templates, images and functions in one place. This reduces the risk of mistakes and makes work more efficient.
A particular advantage is the integration with Mediaflow, which links images to the templates and allows the images' alternative text to be applied automatically. In addition, Värmdö municipality has access to a presentation library with ready-made PowerPoint pages.
We are happy that Värmdö municipality chose to offer their users a training and a seminar. The seminar focused on introducing the users to the features of TemplateExtender and showing how the templates work in practice. In addition, we offered valuable tips on basic Office usage. The seminar was recorded and can therefore introduce new employees to the templates.
The training was in-depth and aimed at those who work administratively with the templates and images in the tool. The training created a long-term and sustainable way of working for Värmdö municipality and their 1300 users.
