When the Web Accessibility Directive came into force, Nacka Municipality needed to ensure that documents they published were accessible. Templates used in the business needed to be adapted.
Accessibility adaptation is a challenge for many organizations, as the graphic profile is rarely adapted for this purpose and there is often little knowledge of the actions needed.
By building the municipality's Word templates so that they can be properly read by the tools used by the visually impaired, we created templates that fall within the framework of the Web Directive. We also updated PowerPoint templates for better conditions in terms of point size and contrast.
