Dentalum managed its financial reporting manually. It worked in the beginning, but as the company expanded with more clinics, the approach became too time-consuming and difficult to scale up.
This growth created a clear need to replace manual procedures with a solution that could manage data efficiently - with real-time updates and the ability to track finances both centrally and by clinic.
Rehngruppen developed an automated Power BI report that retrieves data daily from Fortnox via a customized data model. The report is visualized in Profitbase Financial Matrix and distributed via the DentalumLuppen app. Each clinic manager gets access to their own data through authorization control.
Dentalum now has a modern and interactive reporting system that makes it easy to follow up on finances at all levels. Users can filter on companies, cost centers and periods, select key figures and export the income statement to Excel with one click. The result is a solution that saves time, provides better visibility and enables faster decisions - as the business continues to grow.

Over the past year, Dentalum has expanded significantly with more clinics. In line with this growth, the need for regular, detailed financial reporting has increased - both centrally and at clinic level. The previous manual handling needed to be replaced with a more scalable way of working.
Dentalum's internal reporting was consolidated and automated with integration to Fortnox. Data is now updated daily in the Power BI report based on a specially developed data model. The report has been distributed via the Power BI app "DentalumLuppen", where each clinic manager has access to their own clinic's figures through authorization control.
The report is built around the Profitbase Financial Matrix visualization. It allows users to filter by company, cost center and period, and to analyze at both the account and verification level. Users can also control which key figures are displayed and export the profit and loss statement to Excel with one click.
