The municipality of Hudiksvall needed to modernize their Office templates. Their existing templates were complex, information-packed and difficult to use in practice. At the same time, the municipality wanted to ensure that all documentation met accessibility requirements and followed the graphic profile.
The municipality expressed a clear wish: they needed not only accessible Word templates, but also solutions that made it easy for all employees to find and use the templates in their daily work. As the project progressed, the need grew - Excel and PowerPoint templates, starter templates and functional template buttons were added as part of the brief.
Rehngruppen built a completely new template structure from scratch. Starter templates now open automatically when the user opens an Office program, and the template buttons provide direct access to the municipality's entire template library. We also integrated personal data so that users' information is automatically placed in the right place in documents - regardless of role, committee or department. In addition, subfolders were created for different logo variants, so the right template is always close at hand.
Hudiksvall Municipality received a complete solution with accessibility-adapted and user-friendly templates in Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Thanks to a clear structure, quality assurance according to accessibility requirements and smart functionality, even inexperienced users can now create professional documents easily. The municipality has a solution that combines aesthetics, functionality and accessibility - and makes it almost impossible to make mistakes.
