Jönköping Municipality was working with older Office templates that neither met today's accessibility requirements nor fully reflected the graphic profile. To modernize the work and ensure uniform communication, a completely new template package was needed.
The municipality needed seven new templates for Word, PowerPoint and Excel - all adapted to legal accessibility requirements. The challenge was to combine the right structure, reading order and contrasts with the municipality's visual expression, without compromising on any point.
We developed six new Word templates as well as templates for PowerPoint and Excel. All of them were built with clear structure, customized heading hierarchy, accessible tables and proper contrasts. To make the templates easy to use, TemplateLibrary and TemplateExtender were implemented, giving users quick access directly in the Office programs and automatically handling personal data.
The result is a modern and accessible template package that makes it easy for Jönköping municipality to create documents, presentations and calculations that are always of high quality. The templates strengthen the municipality's visual identity and give employees effective tools for uniform and inclusive communication.
