When it was time for Samhall to renew their graphic profile, we collaborated with them and the Happy agency to create a comprehensive template package in Office. Inspired by design sketches provided by Happy, we built the templates for PowerPoint, Word and Excel. At the same time, we developed functional solutions so that each template and function could be used efficiently and accessibly.
The PowerPoint template was given a central role in Samhall's updated graphic profile. Its many layouts reflect the new graphic profile in a playful and colorful way. Based on Happy's design, we developed a grid to provide a consistent and well thought-out layout that suits Samhall's business. We added a large color palette and created type pages to visualize a vibrant presentation. To ensure smooth operation, we also delivered a detailed instructional video.
In addition to the PowerPoint template, we also produced 14 Word templates and Excel templates in both Swedish and English. Since accessibility was a basic requirement, we created the templates so that all users, regardless of conditions or version of Office, would have the same smooth experience in making their content accessible.
As part of the transition to the new graphic profile, we held two training sessions; one on-site and one digital seminar. During these sessions, we trained users on the new features. We also helped the client by migrating content from older presentations to the new PowerPoint template, which facilitated a smooth transition to the updated material.
