The client needed a simpler and more efficient way to manage employees' leave requests, and in the same project also wanted to make it easier for employees to keep track of their leave, saved vacation days or leave history.

Periodically, many companies have to deal with a high volume of leave and holiday requests. Sometimes keeping track of what is taken in vacation days, comp or sick days can be cumbersome.

Instead of storing all information about leave in an Excel file, an app solution in connection with a SharePoint list can be used instead. The advantages are that you can limit the input in a completely different way. Individual employees simply apply using a date picker, and then specify the type of leave. The information is sent by email to the responsible person who can then respond with an approval or rejection. The applicant receives an email about the status of the application. Simple, efficient and secure.
