Coop needed a modern PowerPoint template that could be used by the entire organization - whether employees worked on PCs or Macs. The challenge was to create a template that was accessible, consistent and flexible enough to work in different parts of the organization.
The organization saw the potential in bringing all its resources together in a PowerPoint template that combined smart functionality with a clear graphic identity. The aim was to make it easy for the 5000 users to work consistently, take advantage of ready-made slides, insert icons and images - and at the same time raise the quality of the visual expression.
Rehngruppen built a PowerPoint template integrated with our TemplateExtender, Template, Icon, Slides and Picture Library services. This provided Coop with a platform where templates and resources can be shared and updated seamlessly, regardless of device. In addition, a training session was held for content managers, providing them with both the knowledge and practical tools to become presentation design professionals in PowerPoint.
The result is a PowerPoint template that is stylish, functional and easy to use across the organization. Coop requested an updated PowerPoint template that works for both PC and Mac users. The goal was to improve accessibility, increase internal knowledge and create a solution that can be easily scaled to more parts of the organization.
By using our online services - TemplateExtender, Template-, Icon-, Slides- and Picture Library - Coop today gets an efficient template management. Templates, icons and presentation pages can easily be shared with the entire organization. The solution is platform-independent and possible to implement in more business areas if needed.
As part of the project, a training course was conducted to strengthen staff knowledge of PowerPoint. The training was appreciated and gave participants concrete tools to work smarter and more consistently with the templates in their daily work.
